Cheri Walsh graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1991, and a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 1994. Cheri has studied acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada with a Western neuro-anatomical perspective rather than the Traditional Chinese Medicine approach. She studied Auricular acupuncture with Beate Strittmatter , M.D. based on the studies of P. Nogier and F. Bahr. After working in the Bedford Sackville area for 7 years she decided to study Osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy and completed her 5th year of training in 2007. After delaying her thesis for 4 years she is now in the process of researching and writing.
Cheri finds that a combination of Manual Therapy (Osteopathy and Physiotherapy) and Acupuncture (Auricular and Neuro-anatomical) provides the best results for her clients.
After practicing out of her home for 5 years she is looking forward to once again working with a team of like minded professionals all striving for optimal patient experiences and outcomes.
